1. Our Commitment

At PetWhats, we want you to be completely satisfied with our service. We offer a straightforward refund policy because we believe in the value of our pet emotion analysis platform and want you to feel confident when upgrading to Premium.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

For new Premium subscriptions, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with your Premium experience for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment. No questions asked — just contact us and we'll process your refund promptly.

This guarantee applies to your first Premium subscription only. If you've previously subscribed to Premium (even if you later canceled), the 7-day guarantee does not apply to subsequent re-subscriptions.

3. Renewal Refunds

For subscription renewals (subsequent monthly charges after your first month):

  • Refund requests made within 48 hours of the renewal charge will be honored if you haven't used the service during that period.
  • After 48 hours, renewal charges are generally non-refundable. You can still cancel to prevent future charges — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll retain Premium access until then.

4. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount, or a charge after cancellation), contact us immediately. We will investigate and issue a full refund for any confirmed erroneous charges, regardless of when they occurred.

5. Service Unavailability

If the PetWhats service experiences significant downtime (more than 48 consecutive hours of unavailability) during your subscription period, you may request a pro-rated refund for the affected period. We monitor our uptime and will process these requests fairly.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at [email protected]
  2. Include your account email address
  3. Mention the payment date and amount (you can find this in your PayPal receipt)
  4. Briefly state the reason for your refund request

We process refund requests within 2-3 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method (PayPal). Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

7. Free Tier

Our free tier allows one video upload per day at no cost. The free tier has no payment obligations and no refunds apply. You can use the free tier for as long as you like.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your account Settings page. Cancellation:

  • Takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain all Premium features until that date
  • Your account reverts to the free tier afterward
  • All your pet profiles, videos, and analysis history are preserved
  • There are no cancellation fees or penalties
